Playing 1:1, the players are able to practice dribbles, feints, running with the ball, and kicking at the goal. To develop the players’ ability to find different solutions, they are to score at two goals and defend two goals.
The exercise can be done with 4 - 6 players, who in turn play 2 minute matches. The players who are not on the field can take an active break practicing e.g. passes or shots. The coach encourages the players to test various feints, dribbles, and kicks. The players play maximum 3 matches, preferably against different opponents. 3 x 2 minutes (2 minute’s break between each match). Have a look at exercise 93 (U5-U8, level 2) for more ideas.
