This cross coordination exercise aims at strengthening the players’ ability to explosively move/jump from side to side with the body when performing a change of direction with and without the ball. Balance, coordination, and perception is further strengthened by jumping on the trampoline with rotation and following shot.
Jump from side to side, but always land and take off on the forefood/tip of the toes. Stretching of the arm must be up and forward! The free leg must not be behind the supporting leg when the player lands and prepares the next jump. When jumping into the trampoline, players must remember to pull with their arms both to the right and left side. Lock the ankle-joints when you shoot. Time: 20 - 30 seconds followed by a break of 30 seconds. Repeat 6 - 8 times, always left and right in turns.
