The design of this exercise is based on Technica's basic principles on the development of "The perfect player". In order to eventually master the correct movements with the ball, Technica believes that first, you should train the given movements without the ball, afterwards with the ball. El Elástico is a good example of how you, at an early stage, can develop body - and football-intelligence.
The coach shows the players the correct movements, first without the ball, then with it. In the first part without the ball, the detail is done 3-5 times in 3 intervals. Remember the important break, where the players are coached on their experiences combined with a good and constructive guidance from the coach. Use the same setup afterwards, when you include the ball.
