The exercise is meant as an activity to do in between the football-related exercises. By using this exercise at the right time, you can - as a coach - help give your players a “mental break” based on motor training, games, and fun. After such a break, the players’ concentration and learning readiness will once again be up and running.
Let the players play freely and use their imagination while playing with hoops and training poles. You could ask these questions: Who can do some cool tricks with the hoops? How could you develop a game using the hoops and training poles?
