This exercise is about both having a sense of locality and controlling the ball. Players dribble with right and left foot past the cones. When one cone has been passed, the player has to pass through the center of the area, before dribbling to a new cone. The players will also practice adjusting their run - changing direction.
The coach talks to the players about the importance of keeping the ball close to one’s feet, in order to succeed. Furthermore, the players are told the importance of having a sense of locality in the area - keeping focus on ball and space. Area: A circle with a diameter of 10 m (33 ft).
