The exercise focuses on the shooting phase, where the player who receives the ball with a good 1st touch is to bring himself in a position for a good shot, using the instep drive.
The players at the back line - using the instep pass - serve the ball into the marked area, where the attacker performs a good, active 1st touch, brings the ball through the two cones, before shooting with an instep drive. The players swap positions on a regular basis and the exercise can also be done with an instep pass from the right side of the back line. The instep pass could be replaced with a push pass.
1 goal, 8 cones, and 8 balls.
