In this exercise the players are to practice making sharp turnings with the ball, using right and left foot in turns.
Guide the players on the importance of keeping the ball close to their feet when dribbling and changing direction. The exercise could begin with having the players run around the area without the ball, in order to practice the right body movements.
6 cones, 4 half-cones, and 6 balls
Based on the players’ level, one could adjust the exercise as regards to the size of the area and the speed of the dribbles and turnings.
