This exercise trains the players’ perception and strengthens their versatile movement pattern when changing direction.
One player is the shark, which is trying to turn (catch) the fish into squids. The fish are to try to swim through the hostile waters without being caught by the dangerous shark. If a fish is caught or runs out of the area, it is turned into a squid that helps the shark catch the other fish. The squid has to stay in the place where it was caught. The exercise begins with the shark shoutning; “Fish, fish, come swim in my waters…”. After six runs, the super-fish is chosen. The exercise could be repeated 3 - 4 times - each time with a different shark.
