Focus

In this exercise the players train their balance by jumping up and down while landing on right and left leg in turns. This also improves their strength in jumping and their ankle joint strength.

Instructions

The players jump in and out of the hoop. After e.g. 5 jumps on one leg they switch to the other. Furthermore, the exercise is a good opportunity to talk to the players about the importance of the arms in order to keep a good balance. If you wish to challenge the players, have them work together in pairs or three and three in one hoop. Also, the players could “jump” to a new hoop on a given signal for the sake of variation in the exercise.
