The exercise trains the players’ quality in passings, thrir active 1st touch, and getting ready to receive the ball.
The idea is a hard pass forward to a player (the most remote foot), who - the second before he/she receives the ball - prepares receiving the ball by turning to the blind side in order to create space to get a good and active first touch. The exercise is done in 3 intervals of 2 minutes, and the breaks are used to coach the players on the focus areas. The exercise is done in both directions in the triangle.
