In this exercise the players are to further develop their right/left coordination, the important cut when changing direction, along with their sense of locality when controlling the ball. Change in pace combined with change of direction could be included, depending og the players' level.


First, the coach demonstrates the exercise by taking the ball through the V - I - V - I course (the players take the ball through a course designed as the letters V and I). After this, ask the following questions: How can we take the ball through the course? What is a cut? How do we maintain a sense of locality? After completing the course 3 times, take a short break to coach the players based on their experiences. Do the exercise again, possibly in the opposite direction.
